What is Gastritis?

Gastritis is a common form of gastrointestinal distress. Gastritis occurs when membranes along the stomach wall begin to deteriorate. Once the stomach membranes deteriorate, stomach acid can cause harm and bad bacteria can start to take over.

The stomach’s protective lining becomes inflamed when it gets irritated. While this is a normal, natural reaction to illness or injury, the body’s immune system can become stressed. Long-lasting, or chronic inflammation sets in and causes further damage to the stomach lining. This can eventually lead to ulcers or even stomach cancer.

Gastritis & Stomach Ulcers

Gastritis in normally localized to the stomach which usually leads to stomach ulcers, indigestion, and other symptoms. However, it can also lead to a hiatal hernia.

Your gut is made up of trillions of bacteria. These bacteria live and die in a regular life-cycle that greatly affects your health. Some of these bacteria are helpful to your health and can help create vitamins in your body. However, some are harmful and can lead to health problems, lowered immunity, depression, and other chronic health conditions.

Your gut is an extremely hard-working part of your body. It is often called the “second brain” because it islined with neural cells just like the brain. The gut does many important jobs in the body, including the following:

  • Absorbs vitamins and minerals to be used elsewhere in the body
  • Regulates hormones
  • Digests food
  • Produces vitamins
  • Communicates with your immune system
  • Helps you eliminate toxins
  • Has a big effect on your mental health (the gut-brain axis)[2]

We can minimize gastric distress, including gastritis, hiatal hernia, stomach ulcers, and more, by limiting the bad bacteria and promoting a hospitable environment for the good bacteria.

H. pylori and Gastric Distress

The pylori bacteria are particularly important because they can cause gastritis (inflammation of the stomach).

These microorganisms survive in your stomach by attaching themselves to the stomach lining using hair-like appendages that help them get around, called flagella. Once they attach to the stomach wall they begin to release an enzyme which converts to ammonia and imbalances the stomach acid. This enzyme makes your stomach a more favorable environment for the bad bacteria so they can permanently stay in your stomach.

Imbalancing the stomach acid can actually increase gastric distress. Stomach acids help us to digest food properly, retain nutrients, and break down food so we can efficiently get rid of waste. Lower stomach acid can lead to foods being only partially digested. Partially digested food can lead to bloating, constipation, and the inability to get rid of waste which promotes bad bacteria. This ultimately leads to an irritated, inflamed stomach and an intestinal tract. This can create a depressed immune system making it nearly impossible to heal gastritis.

Drug Resistant Bacteria

The overuse of antibiotics can lead to new strains of bacteria that are resistant to any treatment – allopathic or natural. The newest, most deadly drug-resistant bacteria have been identified, and experts predict that these bacterial strains will cause over 10 million deaths by 2050.

Drug resistant bacteria are bad news, and they aren’t helping your gastritis symptoms. Doctors continue to prescribe antibiotics, even for illnesses that don’t involve bacteria, like the common flu.[6]

Natural Cures to Get Rid of Gastritis Forever

There are some steps that you can take to heal your gastritis naturally. To heal the stomach lining, the first thing you can do is change your diet and eating habits. The following recommendations can help:

  • Eat smaller meals. Four to five small meals are better than a few big ones. This puts less stress on your stomach and digestive system as a whole.
  • Don’t eat on-the-go or under stress. This aggravates the natural, healthy digestive process and leaves partially digested food to rot in your stomach.
  • Avoid spicy foods. Spicy foods can irritate your stomach lining if it has been damaged.
  • Avoid acid-forming foods and drinks like citrus, alcohol, and caffeine. These foods and drinks can irritate an inflamed stomach lining. Alkaline-encouraging foods like most fruits and vegetables, beans, legumes, nuts, and sprouts can aid in healing your stomach and promote better microflora in your gut.
  • Dring ginger or Tulsi tea when you are not eating a meal. Ginger has antibiotic and antiseptic properties, and Tulsi has been used for upset stomach for millenia.
  • Vegetable broth can help restore your stomach and intestinal lining as it is full of antibiotics and healthy enzymes that promote gut health.
  • Eat fennel, anise, and licorice. These herbs are soothing to the digestive tract.
  • Incorporate aloe and aloe vera juice. They are like a balm to the intestinal tract and can help ease upset stomach.
  • Lightly cooked vegetables are better for you than raw. Raw vegetables are much harder for your stomach to digest. They may be fine for a healthy person but can worsen symptoms in patients with gastritis. Lightly cooking or sautéing vegetables makes them easier to digest without losing or damaging their nutrients.

Dear Sirs, I recently purchased the kit for Hiatal Hernia & Gastritis. I am very impressed by the results. In about 2 weeks i already begin to feel relief. The stomach bloating is almost gone and the pain has been reduced by about 90%. I have been suffering with stomach issues since January of last year. I have tried several combos of over the counter meds and natural remedies as well but with very little improvement, frankly it was very discouraging, however your medication is by far the one offering real result..Thank You

I was in a lot of distress from going doctor to doctor and couldn’t find any hope in sight. My report a few weeks back shows Grade 5 hiatal hernia, antral gastritis and deodenal folds in report on left side and a few weeks later report shows no hiatal hernia, no folds, and no gastritis. I was so surprised when i started taking the kit Grocare gave me. They took me off my PPIs which was not easy for me but I started feeling that my digestion was getting better within 2-3 weeks and soon when I had no pain I went for another scan and saw my reports completely normal. As suggested I will still continue the medicines until all symptoms go away but the experience itself is so mind boggling and exciting that I had to share these with you. Thank you so much and I hope you will continue to help people like this everywhere.

-Mr. Singh, Mumbai
